Experience the magic and mystery of Hogwarts! MVUUC will be turned into Hogwarts School for a feast in the Great Hall and games. The Dinner Party is for adults only (sorry, due to space restraints we cannot provide childcare). Appropriate Harry Potter-related costume is encouraged!
Dinner will be catered by Chef Tracy 419 LLC. Dinner includes steak and kidney pie, pumpkin pasties, Yorkshire pudding, Hogwarts house salad, golden snitch cheese balls, advocado dragon eggs, herbology bites, and french onion soup! Drinks include butter bear, pumpkin juice, and polyjoice potion (all nonalcoholic)! Desserts include mandrake cupcakes, apple treacle tarts, chocolate frogs, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Jelly Beans, and chocolate-covered insects! If you are Vegan/Gluten-Free, you can select the "Vegan/Gluten-Free" tickets.
Dinner guests will also be invited to help solve the "Case of the Missing Time Turner." Our Hogwarts School starts August 7th for the kids, but we can't start classes without our Time Turner!! Guests will collect clues and talk with school staff throughout the night to help find our Time Turner!
At our Hogwarts, guests can also play Wizards Chess on a life-size board, participate in Potions class, make your own magic wand, play Quidditch, and much more!!!
We will also be raffling off a Deluxe Harry Potter gift basket a Mauraders's Map Morphing Mug, golden snitch bracelet, and Harry Potter umbrella. Basket value is $45. You do not have to attend the Dinner Party Adventure to participate in the raffle!
Note: This is a fundraising event for Maumme Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation (MVUUC). Your ticket (and any additional donation you'd like to provide) will go towards scholarship for kids to attend Hogwarts, magical supplies and decorations, and the MVUUC general fund (so we can do even more great programs!).
Buffet Dinner will be served 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and games/activities run from 6:00-9:00 p.m.!! Doors open at 4:30!
